Peach and Sage Serra Plaza Wedding

Kelsey and her bridesmaids got ready at their leisure inside the Bridal Suite at Serra Plaza while Chris and his groomsmen suited up and posed for photos inside the Lounge. The bridesmaids were dressed in sage green silky dresses and the groomsmen wore black and white. To ensure the bride and groom didn’t see each other before the ceremony, each group took turns in the courtyard for group pictures, then lined up for the ceremony.

Guests entered the Courtyard, signed Chris and Kelsey’s guest book, then took a seat. Peach and white floral arrangements marked the sides of the aisle and matching tall floral arrangements framed in the Spanish fountain as the ceremony backdrop. As soon as everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Kelsey. As soon as the bride and groom locked eyes for the first time, smiles filled their faces. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, the couple read their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

In the Lounge, Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta, Italian Wellingtons, and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts were tray passed and the bar served up the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Moscow Mule and Spicy Margarita. A modern beige, sage, and rust-colored lounge offered a stylish and comfortable space in front of the fireplace where guests could sit back and sip on their drink. Chris and Kelsey joined their guests for selfies, then invited everyone to check the candle seating chart and head back outside for reception.

Tables were topped with fresh floral centerpieces, taupe candles, deckled edge table numbers, and custom printed menus. Chris and Kelsey made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their head table with their friends. Chicken Piccata, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Caesar Salad was served, and toasts were shared. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Casey. After dinner, the couple cut into their two-tiered almond wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. The evening ended out on the dance floor where everyone got into the celebratory spirit!
