Romantic and Modern Black and White Wedding at Serra Plaza
Guests entered the Serra Plaza Courtyard, signed Michelle and Andrew’s guest book, then took a seat under lush, green trees with hanging chandeliers. White floral arrangements lined the aisle and matching flowers framed in the Spanish fountain. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Michelle. Together in front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Guests headed to the Lounge for cocktail hour where tray passed Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts and Cuban Papas Rellenas and the bar was serving up Paloma and Vodka Cranberry signature drinks. While guests mixed and mingled, the newlyweds posed for photos together as husband and wife. Upon their return to cocktail hour, it was time to head back to the Courtyard for reception.
Black and white tables topped with fresh florals and candles surrounded a modern black and white dance floor. Andrew and Michelle made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared and dinner was served. First, Pear and Walnut Salad, then Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Roasted Atlantic Salmon with Heirloom Carrots and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, Michelle and Andrew cut into their personal-sized white wedding cake with strawberry creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in our Kouign Amann dessert station for a little something sweet. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and sharing their well wishes with the bride and groom.
